Mid-Penn Motion (MPM) is the premier AAU basketball club in Central PA and a charter member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) for the Middle Atlantic district. MPM is a 501(c)(3) charitable, not-for-profit organization with all of its board of directors, coaches, and administrative personnel serving in a full volunteer capacity. Mid-Penn Motion is all about serving and supporting the youth of Central Pennsylvania in the sport of basketball. Our purpose and focus is to provide girls and boys, aged 9 to 17, an opportunity to advance and develop as student athletes while improving their skills as they pursue their passion for basketball with the aspiration of playing at the next level. As you can imagine, the cost to run such a program is significant from the expenses at the club level all the way down to the individual teams. As a club, we offer both college scholarships and financial aid, along with structured skills development and the opportunity to play at the highest level of competition at national and college showcase tournaments across the US. For our teams, each player is responsible to raise the necessary funds to meet his/her financial commitment to their team. This includes uniforms, gym time, tournament fees, travel expenses, and more. In order to offset the many expenses and enable us to continue providing scholarship opportunities for our student athletes wanting to play AAU basketball for an elite club, we need your support.
